A. LINGUISTICS

     DEFENITION
  

The scientific study of language and its structure, including the study of grammar, syntax, and phonetics. spesific brances of linguistics include sociolinguistics, dialegtology, phsycolinguistics, dialegtology, computational linguistic, comperative linguistics, and structural linguistics. (the new oxford dictionary of english 2003)

     According to chomsky, linguistics is a " Branch of cognitive psychology" (1972:1) He writes," i would like to think of linguistic as that part of psychology that focuses it attention on one spesific cognitive domain and one faculty of main" the language is simply that part of human psychology that part of human psycology that is concerned with one particular " mental organ " human language   ( 1975 : 36).

   
     
 BRANCH OF LINGUISTIC

1.) phonetics
      =>  branch of linguistic that is study of speech sound including articulated, transmitted, and received.

2.) phonology
    => branch of linguistic that is study how to speech sound organized. this study same like how to prunounciation in langguage.

3.) morphology
    => branch of lingguistic study of formation of word . this study including added affix, sufix, prefix, and learn of morpheme. or same like we are learn grammar of word.

4.) syntax
   => branch of linguistic that is study of combination of word into phrases, clauses, and sentences.

5.) lexicology
  => branch of linguistic that is study of treats of the signification and application of word. or study ro make dictionary..


6.) semantics
  => branch of linguistic that is study of meaning all its formal aspect. or study of meaning of word in the sentences. because words have several types of meaning.
